Brexit must mean Brexit

Brexit must mean Brexit

Dear Editor,

During the referendum campaign it was  made quite clear by most of the leading figures that if we voted to leave the EU we would also leave the single market. 17.4 million voted to leave and won by almost 1.5 million votes, yet the Remainers won`t accept the result and continue to question the outcome.

The usual pro-EU suspects including Tony Blair, Nick Clegg, Tim Farron and many Tory MP`s are causing uproar and are doing their utmost to scupper the result, want a second referendum or demand that parliament trigger Article 50 and a business woman, Gina Miller, is taking on the Government through the Supreme Court.

In America, apart from rioting, certain quarters are now demanding recounts in states again because they did not get what they wanted and Donald Trump won the election of November 8th.

Both events, as well as growing discontent in Europe confirm that the left leaning establishment do not respect the will of the people and do not accept true democracy on any terms other than their own – if the results had go in their favour then that is democratic.

The fact is that the failed political establishment, as well as others with vested interests have continually campaigned using a mixture of fear and false predictions to keep us shackled to the EU, are no longer believed by the majority, which is why we voted to leave.

Teresa May has said that Brexit means Brexit, she must now prove it and ensure she provides the 17.4 million with what they voted for !

Yours sincerely
